Due to the high requirements for the shape or dimensional accuracy of products and the different characteristics of resin materials, the mold needs to be tested and modified repeatedly after the completion of mold manufacturing, which makes the development and delivery time very tight.
Difficulty 4: injection parts and molds are designed and manufactured in different places.
Mold manufacturing is not the ultimate goal, but the final product design is proposed by the user. According to user requirements, mold manufacturers design and manufacture molds, and in most cases, products produced by injection molding are also in other manufacturers. In this way, product design, mold design and manufacturing and product production are carried out in different places.
For plastic products, the first thing injection molding manufacturers need to do is to evaluate the difficulty of mold development. The higher the difficulty, the higher the cost is.
