It can be manufactured and processed into various mechanical parts, such as automobile gears, oil screens and shift start discs; Aircraft engine parts, automatic washing machine runner, medical device parts, etc. PEEK material has become one of the key areas of attention of many injection molding enterprises because of its relatively high price and relatively difficult molding.
Polyether ether ketone (PEEK) is a high polymer composed of repeating units containing one ketone bond and two ether bonds in the main chain structure. It belongs to special engineering plastics. Peek has the advantages of high mechanical strength, high temperature resistance, impact resistance, flame retardant, acid and alkali resistance, hard texture and long service life. It is widely used in the fields of automobile industry, aerospace, medical devices and so on.
Peek resin was first applied in the aerospace field to replace aluminum and other metal materials to manufacture various aircraft parts. In the automotive industry, peek resin has good friction resistance and mechanical properties. As the raw material for manufacturing engine hood, its bearings, gaskets, seals, clutch gear rings and other parts are widely used in automotive transmission, braking and air conditioning systems.
