How Do You Know About Hardware

Hardware: Traditional hardware products, also known as “small hardware”. Refers to the five metals of gold, silver, copper, iron and tin. After manual processing, it can be made into art or metal devices such as knives and swords. Hardware in modern society is more extensive, such as hardware tools, hardware parts, daily hardware, construction hardware and security supplies.

Hardware processing can also be called metal processing. Turning, milling, planing, grinding and boring, etc., modern machining has added electrical discharge machining. In addition, die casting, forging, etc. are also commonly used processing methods. If it simply involves sheet metal, milling, grinding, wire cutting (discharge type) and heat treatment are commonly used.

Hardware processing can be divided into: automatic lathe processing, CNC processing, CNC lathe processing, five-axis lathe processing, and can be roughly divided into two categories: hardware surface processing and metal forming processing.

‍1. Hardware surface processing can be subdivided into: hardware painting processing, electroplating, surface polishing processing, metal corrosion processing, etc.

1. Spray paint processing: At present, hardware factories use spray paint processing when producing large-scale hardware products. Through spray paint processing, hardware parts can be prevented from rusting, such as daily necessities, electrical housings, handicrafts, etc.

2. Electroplating: Electroplating is also the most common processing technology for hardware processing. The surface of hardware parts is electroplated through modern technology to ensure that the products will not become mildewed and embroidered under long-term use. Common electroplating processing includes: screws, stamping parts, Batteries, car parts, small accessories, etc.

3. Surface polishing: Surface polishing is generally used in daily necessities for a long time. By burring the surface of hardware products, the sharp parts of the corners are thrown into a smooth face, so that the human body will not be harmed during use.

2. Metal forming processing mainly includes: die-casting (die-casting is divided into cold pressing and hot pressing), stamping, sand casting, investment casting and other processes.
